Pittsburgh Philharmonic Orchestra

Established in 1975, The Pittsburgh Philharmonic comprises amateur and professional musicians from across the Western Pennsylvania area.  We are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, supported by generous contributions from corporate sponsors and private donations.  To learn more about The Pittsburgh Philharmonic, please visit our history page.

Mission

Our mission is twofold:

  1. To serve the community by providing educational entertainment through a variety of classical music performances aimed at all music lovers in innovative, affordable, and accessible concerts in the greater Pittsburgh area.
  2. To provide opportunities for dedicated and talented amateur musicians to collaborate and share great music.

Concerts

The Pittsburgh Philharmonic presents at least four concerts each year in our regular season.  The repertoire consists of classical works (symphonies, overtures, concertos), light classics, and symphonic pop music.  For more information about our current season, please visit our concerts page.

Our New Home

Regular season performances are held at the Greater Pittsburgh Masonic Center, 3579 Masonic Way, Pittsburgh, PA, 15237.
